Who we are
Synapse Systems is a Belarusian IT company based in Minsk and a resident of the High-Tech Park. We build AI-powered software and specialize in human behavior analysis: at the intersection of computer vision, natural language processing and machine learning we create systems that help organizations make informed decisions — in security, personnel screening, medicine and open-source intelligence.
We start from a simple idea: human behavior is a measurable signal. The way a person writes, speaks, moves and expresses emotions reflects their state, intentions and cognitive traits. Our job is to turn this signal into objective data that an analyst, an executive or a physician can rely on — and to do it ethically: with the person's explicit consent and in strict compliance with personal data legislation.
Our products are built by a team of engineers and researchers in machine learning, computer vision and applied psychometrics. We combine a scientific approach with engineering discipline: every methodology behind our modules is validated on real data, and every product goes through pilot deployments with customers before entering regular operation.
The SAPPHIRE ecosystem
Our flagship development is SAPPHIRE, a multimodal human behavior analysis platform. Seven independent channels — text, handwriting, voice, facial expression, body language, social networks (OSINT) and cognitive tests — are assessed separately, cross-validated against each other and assembled into a single expert conclusion. Multimodality is a deliberate choice: a finding confirmed by several independent channels is more reliable than any single measurement, and cross-validation between modalities reduces false positives and makes the result resistant to deliberate masking.
Four derivative products are built on the shared SAPPHIRE CORE — for personnel assessment, media space monitoring, medical diagnostics and complex analysis of video recordings:
What we do
Recognition and analysis of human emotional states using computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). Our own models analyze facial expressions, intonation, vocabulary and psychomotor patterns and produce a structured conclusion rather than raw data.
This is the core of the entire SAPPHIRE ecosystem: methodologies proven in our own product are then carried over into custom solutions and industry deployments.
Design and implementation of custom AI solutions for business process automation: intelligent data processing and analysis, predictive modeling, integration with customers’ corporate information systems.
We work full-cycle — from task audit and data research to production deployment, training of the customer’s staff and ongoing maintenance of the solution.

High-Tech Park
The High-Tech Park is a special legal regime for the IT industry of the Republic of Belarus. For us, residency is not only favorable business conditions but also a public confirmation of our status: the company’s business project passed expert review and was approved by the HTP Supervisory Board.
