User Agreement — SAPPHIRE Insight
1. Who we are
This User Agreement (the "Agreement") is concluded between you (the "User") and Synapse Systems LLC (Reg. No. 193867205, address: 17/4 Masherova Ave., office 412, Minsk, 220029, Republic of Belarus; e-mail: info@synapse-systems.by) (the "Operator", "we").
2. About the service
SAPPHIRE Insight is an open-source monitoring and analytics service, including monitoring of brand mentions in public Threads posts. The service collects and analyzes publicly available information and provides the user with ready-made analytics: mentions, trends, sentiment and connections.
3. Who may use the service
The service may be used by persons aged 18 or older who have an active Threads account and are entitled to connect that account to the service. By connecting an account, you confirm that you meet these conditions.
4. Permitted and prohibited use
You agree to use the service in accordance with the law and the rules of the Meta and Threads platforms. It is prohibited to:
- violate the rules of Meta and Threads, including the terms of use of their APIs;
- use the service data for surveillance, stalking or profiling of specific individuals;
- send spam or mass unsolicited communications;
- transfer data obtained through the service to third parties unless expressly agreed with us in writing;
- take actions aimed at circumventing the technical limitations of the service.
5. Independence from Meta
The service is independent of Meta Platforms, Inc. and Threads and is not sponsored, endorsed or supported by them. Meta and Threads are not responsible for the service or its operation.
6. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
Data comes from the Threads API and other open sources. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy or continuity of the data; the volume and terms of data access may be changed by the platforms without our involvement. The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or consequences of decisions made based on the service analytics.
7. Suspension and termination of access
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service in case of violation of this Agreement, legal requirements or platform rules, as well as at the request of the platforms. You may stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your Threads account in the service settings and sending us a data deletion request.
8. Related documents
Personal data processing is governed by the Personal Data Processing Policy. The data deletion procedure is described in the Policy; you may also send a deletion request to info@synapse-systems.by.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
The Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Belarus. Disputes are resolved in court at the Operator's place of registration (Minsk, Republic of Belarus).
10. Changes to the terms
We may update this Agreement by publishing a new version on this page. Continued use of the service after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new version.
